Enjoy our crystal clear results inside-and-out with the power of pure water and our octopus magic! We regularly clean external windows but also offer an internal window cleaning service, simply using pure water and clean cloths. This can be done regularly or once or twice annually.
Get the best results on your conservatory roof with our deep clean using all tentacles. We thoroughly clean everything including finials and guttering using our pure water system.. We offer this service on a regular basis or it can be done once or twice annually.
We clean Gutters Fascias and Soffits using our telescopic poles fed with pure water for the ultimate results with a deep clean.
Fascia is the board that usually caps off the roof or roof Trusses or the ends of Rafters and can vary in size and materials.
Gutters are the water collection system to protect the building (can also be used to collect rainwater) and are usually fitted to Fascia boards, but this is not always the case. We clean the outside of these.
Soffit is the board that runs underneath the fascia perpendicular to the building and the Fascia board.
We can clean these individually or all together for a whopping discount, all priced per metre. We offer this service on a regular basis or once or twice annually. We highly recommended this service to keep your whole house looking clean. Think of the Fascias, Soffit and Gutters as the collars of your house.
We clean weatherboarding using our telescopic poles fed with pure water, except for certain types of wood cladding. Priced per square metre, we offer very competitive rates!
Keep your gutters empty and working efficiently, which in turn helps keep your windows and conservatory clean. Additionally, if you collect rainwater, then keeping your gutters clear will help the water stay clean and flowing well.
When gutters get blocked they can leak and break, so keeping them clear ultimately saves you money in the long run. How often you need them cleared depends on your area (trees, shelter from weather etc). We use a high powered hoover/vacuum powerful enough to remove stubborn thick grass and vegetation and capable of reaching gutters at heights of up to 40ft off the ground.
We offer this service as and when you require and we can provide ‘before and after’ videos for you to see the work being done.
We scrape the worst of the Moss & Lichen off the roof and then treat it with an environmentally friendly product called Algoclear. This is what's known as a ‘Biocide treatment’ or ‘soft washing’. The biocide treatment does most of the cleaning as well as preventing the return of moss and lichen for quite some time. We offer this service as and when you require because in some areas it can take many years to build up again.
We clean solar panels using a special brush (‘flagged’ bristles) to ensure no damage to Photovoltaic-surface panels. Regular window cleaning brushes are too harsh, including the ones designed for leaded windows with ‘flocked’ bristles.
We advise keeping your solar panels cleaned regularly (once a year) to stop the build up of Lichen which can become virtually impossible to scrub off, if left for too long. Keeping your solar panels free from lichen, mould, algae and dust will also keep them working optimally.
We can reach heights of up to 68ft from the ground, so most ‘hard to reach’ Veluxes are well within our range. 60ft is roughly 6 stories tall, which means if your building is 4 stories, we should be able to reach most of the roof, depending on the pitch and garden space.
We recommend a regular clean once every 8 weeks. However, if you feel 8 weekly is too soon or not soon enough, we also offer 4, 6 and 12 weekly rounds but prices vary accordingly.
Please note this is a price guide; for a firm quotation, we will need to see exactly what we’re cleaning!
Our price guide assumes you have a reasonably standard house design and windows.

Our internal window cleaning costs 2-3 times the amount of a regular 8 weekly clean.
For example, if you pay £20 for a regular 8 weekly clean, your internal window cleaning will cost £40-£60.
Prices for all other services are done on an individual basis. We’ll always do it in person, so please get in touch if you're interested.
We use purified water (that we process ourselves) pumped up telescopic poles; from the ground, up to heights of 68ft. This makes it safer for the window cleaner because we don't have to use ladders, there's more privacy for the customers and less risk of damage or accidents.
We use the best equipment and have special brushes to suit different jobs. For example we have ‘flocked’ bristles which are designed for leaded windows (including old lead) and painted windows. This protects your lead and paint by ensuring it is not lifted up and ‘stabbed’ by sharp bristle tips. We also have a soft solar brush with ‘flagged’ bristles, designed specifically to ensure no damage to Photovoltaic panel surfaces (solar panels).
Down here, in the south of England the water is fairly hard, meaning it has a lot of minerals and chemicals dissolved into it (mainly chalk, limestone and magnesium) and this is what leaves white streaks and marks, when tap water is used to clean windows. We all know it more commonly as limescale (think glass- shower door or washing machine pipes). So we have to de-ionise and de-mineralise the water to get it completely pure. We do this through a 4 stage filtration system to ensure the hard water is completely purified.
Octopus Window Cleaning started at the end of 2020, right in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic. Duncan (the main octopus and founder) has been working as a window cleaner for the past couple of years and has learned from the best. He had an opportunity to start up on his own and with everything going on, and his previous history, it was a no brainer to birth Octopus Window Cleaning - all tentacles on deck!
Amanda (the girly octopus) is second in command and runs the books and sometimes the phone. Jason (the octopus apprentice) is learning the ways of the force and I'm pleased to say he will be cleaning with Duncan, soon. We work like a family together and we hope we can show you the same level of compassion, care and hospitality.
We started because we knew there was a demand for regular and reliable window cleaners who can do the job well. Many of our new customers are from recommendations and we are steadily growing thanks to our consistent - immaculate services.
We strive to give the absolute best customer service and results with all our cleaning. We do an extremely thorough job- every time, with top of the range equipment and the purest of water, to ensure the deepest of cleans!
Duncan has an eagle eye and a bit of OCD which is an excellent combination for a cleaner. No time is wasted and not a drop of water is wasted, thanks to the efficiency and wisdom of the marvellous octopus!
Our mission is to look after you as a customer and maintain an excellent standard. We will look after you and your property; always shutting gates behind us to ensure they aren't blowing in the wind. Similarly, we look after your flower beds and potted plants and ornaments, making sure our hoses don’t disturb or damage anything.
We’re also conscientious if you're around while we are cleaning; we’ll be happy to stop cleaning and move the van if someone requires getting on/off your property, and any other special requests you may have.
We always price conservatively when quoting to give you the best value for money.
